Diols

RIKABINOL HB and SKY CHDM are alicyclic diols.
RIKABINOL HB offers excellent weather and chemical resistance when used in polyester and alkyd resins and is also applied in the production of synthetic fibers, rubbers, and pharmaceuticals.
SKY CHDM is widely used as a modifying material to improve flexibility, glass transition temperatures (Tg), weather and shock resistance, transparency, and luster of polyester and polyurethane.

Acid Anhydrides

RIKACID HH is used as a raw material for resins such as alkyd and polyester and displays exceptional weather resistance properties.
RIKACID SA is a starting material for various succinic acid derivatives. It is used as a monomer and synthetic resin material in paints as well as in a wide range of applications in the pharmaceutical, textile, and food industries.
RIKACID BT-100, TDA-100, and TMEG-100/200 are high-purity polycarboxylic acid anhydrides that are used as raw materials in polyimide products. They help deliver polyimide with exceptional transparency and resistance to heat.

Carboxylic Acids

RIKACID CHDA and cyclohexanecarboxylic acid are alicyclic carboxylic acids manufactured using the advanced reduction technologies of New Japan Chemical Co., Ltd.
RIKACID CHDA is easy to handle and offers the exceptional block resistance of a powder, while providing polymers with superior weather resistance and transparency when used as a raw material for polyamide and polyester.
Cyclohexanecarboxylic acid carries a carboxyl group that undergoes chemical reactions with esters, acid chlorides, amides and other chemicals to generate a variety of derivatives. It is used for raw materials applied to pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, and other functional chemical products.
RIKACID TH-W and HH-W are free acids of THPA and HHPA that are useful as epoxy resin curing agents and for polyester and polyamide raw materials.
RIKACID BT-W and TCR-100 are being developed as promising new modifiers that will impart various functions such as heat resistance and solubility to polyester, polyamide, polyurethane and other polymers. They are also expected to act as intermediates for high-performance compounds.
